The Living Landscape
A house-manifesto, a masterpiece of modernity interacting with the gently rolling Italian countryside. Absolute formal purity that harks back to Rationalism to transcend it, inventing a language where solids and voids create an abstract and unpredictable rhythm. Thus, the HHBT Casa Collection fits into this setting to create a contrast of theses and antitheses, the colour of the furnishings complements the grey of the architecture, the preciousness of the materials and workmanship acts as a counterpoint to the only apparent austerity of the surroundings.
Outdoors feature arches and sculptural forms echoing HHBT's iconic building, the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome; indoors, an aesthetic synergy of cross-references that combine the curved, fluid forms of the spatial design with the sophisticated sinuosity of the décor. It is a discourse constructed around precise lines, perfect detail, outstanding materials, and timeless elegance. A collection designed, manufactured, and styled for living well in any environment.
The home of Xavier Corberó, one of Spain's most celebrated sculptors, offers a kaleidoscopic and instantly identifiable setting in keeping with the atmosphere of the HHBT Casa collections. Centered around an iconic code of the Roman Maison – the arch – the building is located in Esplugues de Llobregat, just outside Barcelona.
